Okay, so I got at SFO at around 10:45, since they said their flight was arriving early. I think I got the wrong info, since they came out like at 1:10 ish. There were only a few people when we got there, so I was kind of bummed out that no one was going to greet them, but then again, I was happy…

Real talk: this brought on manly tears.
It’s no secret I have love for MBLAQ. I’ve been an avid A+ fanboy for years now. Many think it’s weird, but it really isn’t considering I’ve grown up on male vocal groups — with The Temptations being the biggest influence in my early years as a child. Sometime in my teens I became a fan of anime, which brought an interest in J-Music, then a natural transition into KPOP after hearing the word on Rain. And, of course, later MBLAQ.
MBLAQ had a roller-coaster year, I would say. Injuries, sicknesses, and many disappointments. Rain, their mentor and brotherly figure (some would often say fatherly) who took them in when numerous companies rejected them, enlisted in the army for a solid two years.
But there was also great achievements. G.O’s success in Immortal Song 2. Their Japan advancement was a success. Mona Lisa was a success. And while they didn’t receive as many awards as others, they won awards voted on by specialists in their field — which counts for a lot, in my opinion.
This video represents a bond that only a few lucky people have shared in their lifetime.
Despite every setback suffered, MBLAQ haven’t forgotten the biggest advantage of being part of a group.
They have each other.
